Adapt the adapter to chattolib 0.4.20 and slim its connect path

The manual protobuf event-envelope decoder goes away — events arrive
as typed chattolib objects now (MessagePostedPayload from
realtime_types, RoomKind/User instead of raw dicts). Room discovery
and seen-list bookkeeping are rewritten against the new types, dedup
moves to the gateway's MessageDeduplicator, connect() announces ONLINE
presence up front, and the config no longer dumps credentials via
json.dumps/pprint at startup.
